Pollination, Collaboration, Inspiration
Jane Mant is an experienced teacher who gently guides students to greater skill, enabling them to let go of blocks. She fosters connection to nature and helps students to access their innate creativity. She works with small groups and one on one with people of all ages.
Venues for the classes are the Honeyeater Studio in the Adelaide Hills which has both indoor and outdoor art spaces. During inclement weather we work indoors on skills and techniques. On friendlier weather days we get out into nature in a range of environments including local parks, gardens and reserves.
We will be gaining a deeper connection to nature through making art outdoors and through paying close attention to the changing seasons. Our work will reflect and respond to those seasons.
Honeyeater’s workshops are ideal for teacher professional development, as a teacher Jane is aware of the requirements of the classroom and the needs of students of all ages. She is keen to help teachers with their own creative development and to give them practical ideas to use with their students. If we are to be supportive and positive teachers it is vital that we nurture our own creativity.
Regular two hour classes are offered for $25. One on one sessions are available for $40 per hour. Various workshops and retreats are held throughout the year with dates and prices to be advised. Contact us to request a customised workshop.
